Adriatic Mermaid Apartments are privately owned apartments, situated in the center of small fishing village Komarna (in the southern Dalmatia), just 70 km north of Dubrovnik. Both apartments, Sea Terrace Apartment and Sea Garden Apartment, are seafront apartments located just several steps from the Komarna beach and the promenade. Both apartments offer stunning sea views and are perfect to chill out. Parking is available in the back of the house or at the parking area 50 m from the house.

DetailsKomarna is a small fishing village in southern Dalmatia, located between Dubrovnik (70 km north from Dubrovnik) and Split (130 km south from Split). Komarna is perfect for a relaxing holidays and offers a remarkable view of the Pelješac peninsula. The village has three pebble beaches and Komarna beach is located just in front of our house. There are two beach bars in the village, one restaurant and a small grocery store.
From Komarna, it is easy to reach some of the famous destinations of the southern Croatia, rich with natural beauty and history - Dubrovnik, Split, Peljesac peninsula, islands of Korcula, Mljet, Brac and Hvar, Medugorje (BiH) and Mostar (BiH). Narona Archaeological Museum in Vid, the ornithological collection in Metković, Safari on the Neretva River (a delta ride in traditional Neretva laces), the Arboretum in Trsteno, Ston Walls in Ston are just of some sights to visit nearby.
Komarna is 15 km drive from Ušće of Neretva – the site popular for kitesurfers. It is at mouth of Neretva river, where Neretva river joins the Adriatic sea.
To explore the surroundings, the car is essential.
read moreIf you are arriving to Dubrovnik or Split airports, you can rent a car at the airport. There is also rent a car service in Metković (20 km north of Komarna). The other option to explore the Southern region is to travel with the bus.
If you are traveling from Dubrovnik with the bus, you can take the bus that goes direction Metković, Split or Zagreb. Ask the driver to stop in Komarna bus station. If you are traveling from Split, you take the bus that goes direction Dubrovnik and ask the same.
If you are planning to go from Komarna to some destination with the bus, the closest station is Metković. From Metković you can travel to the northern or southern parts of Croatia.

Ten minutes’ walk from the house is Uvala Beach, located at the end of Komarna village, which is also a pebble beach in a bay.
Ušće beach is the closest sandy beach to Komarna and is 15 km drive from Komarna. It is at mouth of Neretva river, where Neretva river joins the Adriatic sea. Ušće of Neretva is popular site for kitesurfers.
